"Can you do a simple redesign of the Mimicle drawing psychology analysis report?"
The data and management team requested a simple redesign of the Mimicle drawing psychology analysis report.
At that moment, warning signals went off in my head. I set up a meeting to better understand their goals and explained why we couldn't simply add new UX to the product without considering the existing experience.
They agreed. So, we decided to identify the issues with the current customer experience and implement a new MVP flow that would help with compliance without compromising the business objectives.
Project goal
Design a new MVP flow that delivers the drawing psychology analysis report to users.
Key metrics
Our goal is to increase the number of daily drawing uploads significantly to drive a substantial rise in new user acquisition by Q2 2024.
Most users fall short of the standard in checking the report generated for each drawing.
The main objective of this project was to assess users' needs for the report and optimize it into a different form of functionality.
What we learned
The current drawing psychology analysis report is not useful to the users.
We conducted interviews with over 10 users and analyzed 2k+ Google Play reviews using card sorting to better understand their needs regarding the drawing psychology analysis report. We realized that the information provided in the current drawing psychology analysis report has no actionable outcomes.
Major issues
Low awareness of psychological metrics
The drawing psychology analysis report generates results based on psychological metrics. However, most users are unaware of this policy and have difficulty understanding the information.
Limitations in utilizing the information

Establishing early hypothesis and IA to test
To achieve the goals of the new service, we designed the IA at a high level to ensure seamless integration with existing mechanisms within the product
Test with users
We built lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes to validate our concepts with our users

Frequently feature influencers' artwork on the trend recommendation page to help it reach a larger audience. Additionally, boost participation in the mimic feature to increase the popularity of their artwork.
Influencer Pick Badge for Brand Value
Allow influencers to select their favorite mimic creations of their artwork and award them with an "Influencer Pick" badge, enhancing the brand value of their original work.
